Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has highlighted why President Muhammadu Buhari is unable to deliver a long-term solution to the country’s security concerns.
Buhari is unable to successfully combat insecurity, according to Mohammed, because he lacks the necessary support.
The Governor made the statement while speaking to all of the state’s local government chairmen in Bauchi yesterday.
Bello stated that he is eager to collaborate with the federal government to address the issues, saying that the country has the capacity to combat the threat.
While revealing that one of the State’s local government districts was recently attacked by bandits, he stated that the federal government’s assertion that it is impotent in securing the country is unacceptable.
The council chairmen were asked by Mohammed to guarantee that their neighborhoods were secure.
According to Mohammed: “It is unacceptable for the Federal Government to continue to say they cannot secure this country, our communities.
“We have the resources to do it. I really pity our father, the President and Commander-in-Chief. Because he really wants to do it, but he has not been supported.
“I was a Governor, head of a sub-national administration, I’m ready to work with the Federal Government to make sure we secure our state and country. It is our collective responsibility.”
