Nigeria’s peak electricity generation fell to 4,329.39MW as Nigerians continue to wait for the promise of a reliable power supply.

The new statistic, which appears in the Nigerian Electricity System Operator’s most recent daily operation report, represents a decrease from the 4821.41MW recorded at the beginning of October.

According to some sources, Nigeria has failed to reach a peak of 5,000 megawatts in the last three months, despite the country’s power consumption being estimated at 28,850MW.

Nigeria has a grid producing installed capacity of 13,014.40MW, but only 7,652.60 of that capacity is available for electricity generation and has never been fully utilized.

The national grid has had a number of system failures in recent months due to a lack of spinning reserve, which is supposed to avoid such events. The most recent incidence occurred on June 2nd.

Further investigation by InsightnaijaTV revealed that as of 08:03:00 on Tuesday morning, the Transmission Company of Nigeria has distributed 4,686.62mw to the country’s 11 Electricity Distribution Companies (DisCos).

Abuja Disco received 696.26 mw, Benin Disco received 556.60mw, and Eko Disco received 383.73 mw.

Enugu Disco 581.60mw and Ibadan Disco 800.86mw rounded out the top five.

I have been surfing online more than 2 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.
