The “100 Most Reputable Africans” for 2023 include the former president Goodluck Jonathan, Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Founder and General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor William Kumuyi, general overseer of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry and nine more Nigerians.
The 2023 “roll of honour” list, published by Reputation Poll International, a global reputation company, included Nigerians.
The selection criteria were integrity, visibility, and effect, and the list includes people from a variety of industries, including government and leadership, entertainment, human rights and advocacy, education, and business, among others.
Akinremi Bolaji, Director, Legal and Consular, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Cosmas Maduka, Founder and Chairman of the Coscharis Group; and Dauda Lawal, Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Credent Capital and Advisory are other Nigerians mentioned in the list.

Others include Dr. Jennifer Douglas, managing partner of Miyetti Law Firm; Pastor Paul Enenche, founder and general overseer of Dunamis International Gospel Centre; Theresa Ayoade, executive director of Multiple Concepts Groups; and Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, permanent representative of Nigeria to the UN.
Along with the people honoured for their numerous accomplishments on RPI’s “100 Most Reputable Africans” list, there are others who are recognised for their contributions to social impact and social entrepreneurship, which have a positive impact on lives without stirring up controversy and helped to transform businesses in Africa.
The co-chair of the Review and Audit Committee, Beldina Auma, who is also the Chair Emeritus of the World Bank Group-IMF African Society and the President of Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals International, stated that the organisation is committed to recognising individuals, organisations, and companies that consistently improve lives in Africa and around the world during the announcement of the list.
