Series 2

Over the years, Ejigbo has suffered long period of Government neglect. The presence of Government was not felt at all as the age long problems of lack of good roads, water, electricity and quality health care facilities among other basic social amenities continue to plague Ejigbo Community. People of the land have on their own been engaging in Community self-help projects.

As a result of the long time neglect, there were insinuations such as no good roads could ever come to Ejigbo. No one knew that this assertion was held simply because the past Governments decided to deliberately neglect the area. Many people have suffered the consequences of lack of accessible roads and many have passed on with the question: “when would Ejigbo ever have an accessible roads”.

It is true as further proven by the chairman (Obe) that when the right person rules, the people rejoice not minding the few paid/sponsored advertorials and publications to undermine the Council boss achievements and giant stride. The way and manner in which Monsuru Obe became the Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area of Lagos State shows, he was and he is still God-sent. Re-election or no re-election, Obe’s name stand tall in the committee of performing chairmen in Lagos State. His achievement are numerous and his visions are clear. There are unquestionable evidence beyond all reasonable doubts that God’s hand was at work through him.

To the best of our knowledge based on available records and facts on ground, Obe’s transformation of Ejigbo is unprecedented in the history of Ejigbo. His good deeds speaks volumes for him. In the first series of our exclusive report on the giant stride of the Council Chairman, Obe disclosed that his administration has constructed and rehabilitates over thirteen roads within his three years in office.

These roads includes the rehabilitation of Moshalashi road, Alh. Nurudeen Obe street, kolawole sebili street, Adebayo Oyalana, Ifoshi road, Rafiu Tijani road, Coker road, NEPA road,, Adekoroye street, etc

Moshalashi road was for years abandoned by motorists and passerby due to it’s bad state. The road which happened to be a strategic link road to Idimu and the entire Alimosho axis have further helped in reducing traffic congestion within the L.C.D.A.

In this series, insightnaijatv.com decided to bring you pictorial evidence of Obe numerous achievement and to appreciate a courageous, hardworking individual like the Ejigbo Council boss, we bring to you pictorial evidence of projects before, during and after project completion.
