“One thing I’ve constantly warned folks is that if somebody thinks or acts in any way that suggests we’ll leave the PDP, foul. We’ll engage in combat within the group. We are not like them when they left Eagle Square in 2014. They’ve lost track. They left and joined APC by leaving. Is it not accurate? said Wike.

Wike stated that the purpose of the scheduled media discussion is to disclose his version of events, which he insisted is the truth, and expose the depravity of some individuals who take joy in being national leaders.

He claims that following the discussion, Nigerians would decide whether or not these individuals are still deserving of the applause they receive. Governor Wike questioned why the PDP, which pledges to unite Nigeria, is unable to do so.

The party would maintain control of all elective seats in the state, according to Governor Wike, despite the internal crises at the federal level and a pocket of hostility by certain unappreciative PDP members in Rivers State.

All three senatorial seats, 13 seats in the House of Representatives, 32 seats in state Houses of Assembly, 23 chairmanships of councils, and 319 councilorships are now held by the PDP.

Wike bragged of being far ahead of his critics, claiming he learns about every strategy before it is put into action.

Additionally, he cautioned party members in the state against serving as spies because the party there will not use any loopholes in its electoral campaign for 2023.

Ambassador Desmond Akawor, the chairman of the PDP in Rivers State, says party members in the State are devoted to supporting Governor Wike’s political ideas and will follow his directions regarding the next course of action prior to the elections.

Former Nigerian ambassador to South Korea, Akawor, claims the party is happy with the manner Governor Wike has been managing the state in terms of both politics and administration.
