The Chairman Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, Mr. Muhammed Nami on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 disclosed that the total of N66billion has been realised by the Federal Government of Nigeria between January till June 2020.
The Chairman made the disclosure at the inauguration of the inter ministerial committee on audit and recovery of back years stamp duties in Abuja.
Mr. Nami who gave the analysis of the money realised between January to June, 2020 said that the finance act only permit the revenue agency as the only body authorized to receive stamp duty for the Country.
