Terrorists released Alwan Hassan, the Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture (BOA), nine days after he was kidnapped.
Hassan was one of the passengers kidnapped on March 8, 2022, when terrorists ambushed the Abuja-Kaduna train.
The attackers, speaking in Hausa, declared in a video circulating on social media that they chose to have mercy on the BOA MD because of the Ramadan season and his age. Click HERE to see the video.

Hassan, who was flanked by heavily armed terrorists, confirmed that he was being released on compassionate grounds.
