Aconsultant on family medicine, Dr. Rukevwe Ugwumba has advised people to continue to take necessary precautions to protect themselves from Covid-19.
Speaking in an interview, Dr. Ugwumba said that the figures of infections and deaths from Covid-19 showed that the world is still far from overcoming the virus.
She said those who might travel during the festive period should wear masks and wash their hands frequently with soap and water.

Dr. Ugwumba called on the Government to do more sensitization at the grassroots on the benefits of handwashing and that everyone was still at risk of contracting Covid-19.
