The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has promised to rub minds with stakeholders at the Apapa Port to find workable and lasting solutions which will make life comfortable for residents.
Governor Sanwo-Olu made the promise during the inspection of ongoing road projects in Apapa, Ijora, Mile 12, the Costain and Alaka axis.
Governor Sanwo-Olu said all stakeholders at the Port, including the Nigeria Ports Authority, Shippers Council, Shipping Line owners, Port Managers at Tin Can Island and Apapa Ports would be invited for a collaborative meeting to identify and solve some of their challenges.
The governor also inspected the on-going repair work on the failed section of Eko Bridge. The repair is expected to complete by the end of September.
