      Oyo State gets New Service Chief

Governor of Oyo State Mr. Seyi Makinde has on Thursday 4th June, 2020 sworn in Alhaji Kamorudeen Aderibigbe  as the chairman of Oyo state Civil Service Commission.

 
 
Governor Makinde noted that some of the administration plan expected to look into by the commission include Civil Service reform, exploring electronic Governance, training and retraining of the State workforce as well as having a functional staff.
 
Mr. Makinde announced the appointment of Chairman Civil Service Commission and three other permanent secretaries at a gathering held in Agodi, Ibadan area of Oyo state.
Gov. Makinde stressed that his confident on the newly appointed chairman and members of the board of their competence in carrying out the task before them.
“You are coming onboard at an auspicious time in our history. It is time for us to reform the Civil Service. I did not entertain any shred of doubt that you have the capacity, competence and will to carryout the necessary reform in the Commission”.
The Governor also urge Civil Servant to put in effort in the development of the State.
“The chairman taught me in primary six and with this, I want to say that the rewards of teachers are no longer in heaven. If you put  in hard work, you never know when your students will show up”.
