The former governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola, has been congratulated by Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, on his win at the Osun State Election Petition Tribunal.
In a message of congratulations signed by his media assistant, Tunde Rahman, Tinubu stated that light had finally prevailed over darkness in response to the court’s decision in Osogbo on Friday, January 27, 2023 where a three-man tribunal chaired by Justice Tetsea Kume nullified Ademola Adeleke’s election, citing overvoting as the reason for its decision.

“Triumph of courage, perseverance, and light over the forces of darkness that sought to arrest the progressive good governance the APC administration delivered to the people of Osun state under the leadership of Oyetola”.
