Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, responded to rumors that he had found love again after his ex-wife Prophetess Naomi Silekunola left him in December 2021.
As seen by InsightnaijaTV, the couple had a baby named Tadenikawo who turned one in November 2021, just before Naomi left the palace and publicly declared the breakdown of their marriage.
Following the revelation, social media erupted with comments. There were rumors that the Ooni attempted to convince Naomi to return to the palace by sending some elders from the area to Ondo State, but she refused.
Multiple sources have claimed that the monarch was unfaithful and that Naomi’s mother and other family members were overbearing, despite the fact that the divorced couple never discussed the issues that ultimately caused their marriage to collapse.
Online rumors circulated on Thursday evening, July 28, 2022, claiming that Ooni was getting ready to welcome his new wife to the palace.
