Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, has expressed gratitude to Signs and Wonders Club International members for their community development initiatives. In addition, he presented awards to three of its members for their individual accomplishments and dedication to community development.
The Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba’s provost, Dr. (Mrs.) Josephine Anene-Okeakwa; Chief Frank Nwugo, the former Director-General of Revenue Monitoring Tracking & Audit for Delta State; football legend Mutiu Adepoju; and Chief Nick Nnabuike Eze, a well-known businessman and philanthropist, were among those honoured at a high-profile event on Thursday.
Nwugo was crowned Otun Oba Asoju Atunluse on Thursday in a colourful ceremony in Ife, while Dr. Anene-Okeakwa was given the title Yeye Asoju Alatunse. Nick Eze was crowned as the Asoju Agbeluga of The Source, while Adepoju is the Asoju Amuludun of Ife.
The Ojaja II Merit Award, according to the Palace, aims to honour and commend people who have consistently shown a dedication to their communities. It is anticipated that receiving this distinction will encourage others to find ways to improve the quality of life in their communities.

Later, at the esteemed Ojaja Arena in Ile-Ife, the Ooni hosted a Royal Banquet for the title recipients and other Club members, which was witnessed by other traditional rulers.

The title recipients, with the exception of Adepoju, are employees of the Asaba, Delta State-based Signs and Wonders Club International. Members of this group are committed to improving society as a whole, as well as their local communities and the underprivileged.
Their individual accomplishments and collective sacrifices have drawn praise from a wide range of sources. The Ooni, Ojaja II, bestows the honour as they head out on a four-day retreat in Osun State, where they will see historical sites and engage in some community development projects.
