Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has been tested negative for COVID-19.
Obasanjo who was tested by Dr. Olukunle Oluwasemowo of the Molecular Genetics Laboratory 54gene, returned his result indicting that the former President is negative for Corona virus.

This was according to his Special Assistance on Media, Kehinde Akinyemi who explained that the test was was conducted on Friday, August 7, 2020 at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) Pent House, Okemosan, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Obasanjo was a two term Nigeria President in 1999 – 2007.
