Residents of Lagos State have been advised to imbibe utmost safety precautions in view of the ongoing heavy rain in the State.
They must also take note of the road and bridges in their routes and avoid driving when the flooding water reaches half of the wheels of their vehicles.

The South West coordinator, National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Mr Ibrahim Farinloye gave the advice in the wake of the downpour being witnessed in the state.
Mr Farinloye who enjoined those living on low plains to move to higher plains until the season is over, urged teachers to keep the children back in classrooms, no matter the time frame the rainfall lasts in order to safeguard their lives.
