The Joint Admission and Matriculations Board, JAMB, has announced that registration for the 2022/23 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) will begin on Saturday, February 19th and end on March 26th, 2022.
The board had already set February 12, 2022 as the date for the exercise.
However, JAMB announced the postponement on Tuesday, citing the need for “further fine-tuning of the improved and user-friendly procedures for applicants’ registration.”
The fine-tuning procedure will be completed within the one-week extension period granted prior to the start of registration, according to the statement.
According to Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, the change was made to accommodate comments from applicants and other stakeholders.
“The Board wishes the general public to note that the Board is ever-ready to provide world-class services to Nigerians.
“Further to the above, the new and improved procedures for the 2022/23 UTME Registration would be made available on the Board’s website, its weekly bulletin as well as other media outlets on Monday, 14th February 2022.
