The size of the vessels that will berth at the port would be four times that of vessels that berth at Apapa and Tin Can Island Port, according to the Lagos governor, who spoke to the President on the occasion.

“We are excited that in your own time, something fresh has been birthed in this country and it is going to generate thousands of direct and indirect jobs,” he said.

The Imota Rice Mill was “conceptualised and finished by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu,” according to the President who inaugurated it.

It is said that the Bestaf Lubricant is the first of its type in West Africa. It is a 200 million litre lubricant facility that encompasses the whole lubricant value chain.

The President will dedicate the John Randle Center for Yoruba Culture and History at Onikan Roundabout on Tuesday, as well as the “historic first Phase of the Blue Line of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit in Marina.”
