Peter Obi, the Labour Party candidate, now has a 41% lead in the polls, according to a recent survey by Stears Nigeria.
Abubakar Atiku of the People’s Democratic Party and Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are in tight second place with 20% and 31% of the vote, respectively.

However, when asked who they would most likely vote for, 36% of the respondents stayed mute.
The largest telephone-based electoral poll in Nigeria, according to Stears, had 6,220 respondents and was conducted throughout 36 States in Nigeria.
However, the Stears model also predicts that Tinubu would win the election in the case of a low voter participation, since he is predicted to receive 39% of the vote, while Obi and Atiku are predicted to receive 32% and 22%, respectively.
According to the pollsters, Tinubu has the greatest number of “silent voters,” or those who plan to vote for him but decide not to say so in an interview.
