The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has again appealed to EndSARS protesters to allow Government to implement the reforms they have been asking for.
He made the appeal on the sideline of the 20th annual conference of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials, COWLSO, currently underway in Victoria Island.
Governor Sanwo-Olu who pointed out that the voices of the protesting youths have been heard and both the State and Federal Governments have taken steps to address the issues raised urged that because of the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, the youths should halt the physical agitations in the interest of safety and progress.

Though the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, a tactical unit of the Nigeria Police has been dissolved following wide spread protests by youths over the unprofessional conducts of officers attached to the unit, the protesting youths have continued with the agitation both online and physically, causing traffic gridlocks across Lagos, thereby disrupting many social and economic activities.
