Atank farm belonging to one of the major petroleum marketers is currently on fire in Apapa area of Lagos.
Reports say that emergency responders are working tirelessly to contain the fire from escalating as the location of the incident habours many other tank farms, which could be dangerous if not halted.
Although, the cause of the fire incident is not known for now, there are no record of fatality yet.

According to the Lagos State Emergency Agency, LASEMA, Boss, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyitolu, appropriate measures to combat the flames and prevent secondary incidents have been activated.
Dr. Oke- Osanyitolu therefore urged Lagosians to remain calm.
