Ayo Fayose, a former governor of Ekiti State, warns that if the conflicting issues inside the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are not immediately resolved, they could get “messier.”
In a tweet on Sunday night, the former governor expressed concern over the “serious turbulence” affecting the main opposition party.

“I see more serious turbulence for PDP more than ever before. I have been silent all this while hoping that things will get better.
“I advise we do more than we are doing now to resolve this crisis as events in days/weeks ahead may likely get messier. I pray this advice is not ignored,” Fayose tweeted.
Insisting that northerners cannot hold both roles, Ayo Fayose and a group of exaggerated governors, including the governor of Rivers, Wike, have been engaged in a protracted argument with Atiku and PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.
The PDP introduced a 600-member campaign council in late September, marking the official start of campaigns for the 2023 elections. Udom Emmanuel, the governor of Akwa Ibom State, would serve as the council’s chairman.
Atiku and his followers have been spotted at rallies in a few locations, including Bauchi, Kaduna, and Akwa Ibom. Wike and his allies, including Governors Ortom of Benue, Makinde of Oyo, Ikpeazu of Abia, and Ugwuanyi of Enugu, have not been spotted at any PDP presidential candidate rallies, though.
