Anybody who refuses to pay back the loan by the deadline would experience a “unparalleled shame,” according to a former member of the community bank’s group who only went by the name Mrs Adeogun.

She warned, “If you don’t pay them back by the deadline, you’ll be treated like trash, severely embarrassed, and in a way that your kids will never forgive you for. I feel confident in what I’m saying since I once belonged.

“Before receiving a fair quantity of money, one must be a member and a dedicated member.

“What they do is get you to join the club and start saving money with them. Your credit card will serve as proof of this saving, and it will qualify you for a loan that you must either repay in full at once or in installments.

Yet, there is always a deadline for repayment that must be met. If you miss it, you will only have yourself to blame.

The dead was owing, according to the local Community Development Association’s secretary, Ade Babawale.

“She was due the sum of N70,000,” Babawale stated. She used style to get rid of the young kid since she couldn’t afford to pay the bill. She then locked herself in the room, doused the entire space in petrol, including herself, and set the entire thing on fire.

The State General Hospital in Ijaye, Abeokuta, has received her body.
