The Chairman of Badagry West Local Council Development Area, LCDA Mr. Joseph Gbenu-Henugbe has again demanded right attitude of staff of the council o work, discipline, dedication and transparency with should be seen as the only way government policies can be achieved.
Mr. Gbenu-Henugbe made this emphasis during a two days budget retreat for top management staffs of Badagry West LCDA held in Ogun State.
The Council Chairman further stated that with the support cooperation of the private sectors, domestic and foreign partners as well as well nearing Nigerians, greater things will be achieved which will in turn change the fortune of the people.
Mr. Gbenu-Henugbe reiterated the commitment of his administration in improving the economic conditions of the people of the LCDA, while charging revenue officers to intensify efforts in generating more revenues.
Speaking the Head of Budget, Mr. Adekanbi A.A said that the budget could still be higher or otherwise, noting that the LCDA intends generating sixty Million, Nine hundred thousand form rate and taxes, while the balance would be sourced from Federal and state allocations.
The proposed Budget for 2022 is estimated at Two Billion, Seventy eight million, eight Hundred and ninety five thousand, three hundred and forty-five Naira only.
