The Member representing Baraza Dass Constituency in the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Hon. Musa Mante, has been killed by gunmen in his home in Baraza.
Available information has it that the lawmaker was killed and members of his family abducted at about 2am on Friday 14th 2020 in Dass local government area of Bauchi.
spokesman of the Bauchi police command, Ahmad Wakili, said they are currently on the trail of the suspects.
Wakili said no arrest has been made so far.
“Yes, the lawmaker was killed by unknown gunmen, they abducted his wives and his one-year-old daughter,” he said.
“Presently, the police are on the trail of the suspects but no arrest has been made so far.”
Until his death, Baraza represented Dass constituency in the state house of assembly.
