Resist From Borrowing, Secondus Charge NASS

The National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Prince Uche Secondus has describe the perpetual borrowing of fund by President Muhammdu Buhari led administration uncalled for.

Prince Secondus in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on media Mr Ike Abonyi urge the members of the National Assembly to resist any form of borrowing that is culpable of mortgaging the future of the country.
The National Chairman of the opposition party expresses doubts about the ability of the federal government in judiciously deploy the loans.
“We feel going by the experience of their inability to properly account for previous loans the the borrowed funds are going into wrong hands and inside private pockets”.
“This government lacks the needed capacity to appropriately utilize these funds because of poor control and inherent corruption in the system under their watch”.
Prince Secondus also called for urgent amendment of the Electoral Act by members of the National Assembly.
” Giving what we saw in 2019 which was why the President refused to endorse the amended electoral act from the 8th Assembly, 2023 will be endangered without the amendment of Electoral Act”.
The party chairman however commended effort of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP members in the senate for highlighting the flaws of the All Progressive Congress,APC led administration noting that Nigerians are watching. ” you are playing your role of having your say even if majority won’t let you have your way”.
