At Tudun Biri, a locality in Kaduna State’s Igabi Local Government Area, a bomb is suspected to have been dropped by a Nigerian Air Force fighter during a Maulud festival, leaving many residents fearing their lives.
Although the tragedy’s specifics are still unknown, preliminary reports suggest that roughly thirty individuals perished on Sunday night at around 9:00 p.m. Locals stated that the incident happened when they were celebrating Maulud in the village.

A resident stated, “They were celebrating Maulud (the birth of Prophet Muhammad) when the jet dropped the bomb, resulting in the immediate death of over thirty people.”
When contacted for comment, Samuel Aruwan, the State Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs’ Overseeing Commissioner, stated that the government would speak to the media at a press conference at Government House but that there are concerns that the death toll could rise. He did not, however, disclose the number of casualties.
