Nancy Isime, a Nollywood actress, has responded to the online outcry over her nude scene in the latest Nollywood film, ‘Shanty Town,’ which is now available on Netflix.
The film ‘Shanty Town’ depicts the narrative of a gang of prostitutes who plot to escape the hands of a known criminal mastermind, Scar, played by Chidi Mokeme, but political corruption makes gaining liberation difficult, and even when someone does, she is killed.
The movie also depicts the difficult conditions of living in the slums, as well as how poverty may lead to exploitation and abuse.
Nancy Isime plays the young girl entangled in the web of prostitution, and critics have highly commended her great performance. However, the controversial naked scene revealing her breast and other sensitive portions of her aroused controversy online.

The moment in which Nancy is forced to strip by Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo emphasises the vulnerability and exploitation that women endure in such situations.
In response to the online outcry, Nancy Isime revealed in an Instagram post that the amazing body party everyone is talking about is actually a prosthetic.
According to the actress, her body parts aren’t as succulent as her body double in the film.
She stated: “Simmer down horny boys and girls, I know those gorgeous body parts excite you but they sadly belong to my beautiful body double. Mine aren’t that succulent.
