President Muhammadu Buhari’s signing of the electoral Act, according to Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, has been praised for paving the way for both his election as governor and free and fair elections in his state.
Following a private meeting with President Buhari at the state house today, Adeleke, who is visiting the state house for the first time since his inauguration in November last year, made this statement to the media.

Governor Adeleke highlighted the President’s good health and said that both Nigerians and the international world have praised the way the exercise was carried out.
It should be recalled that Governor Adeleke defeated Gboyega Oyetola of the ruling All Progressives Congress at the election in July 2022. (APC).
