Rev. Chris Okotie, a campaigner for the interim government, has cautioned Nigerians against getting carried away by the crowds they observe at political gatherings.
Okotie stated in his most recent bulletin that the attendance of a diverse crowd at political rallies is not proof that a presidential candidate has the support of the populace. The bulletin was released from Okotie’s media office in Lagos by his media adviser, Ladi Ayodeji.
We occasionally see the same people at multiple rallies because of crowd-renting, according to Rev. Okotie, who is supporting his Aboriginal Democracy agenda as an alternative to the current form of government.
He clarified that some individuals only go to these rallies out of curiosity, to see the political leaders, or to get involved in the action.

The Reverend contended that Aboriginal Democracy is the only idea that may bring about the change Nigeria needs, not an election as it is being sought, in an interview with Kaftan TV’s Funmilayo Osho -Kumolu on the show, Daybreak Africa, State of the Nation.
“Nigeria’s second attempt at democracy has failed us as a nation,” Okotie declared.
He maintains that before a fair election could be held, an interim government was needed to draught a new, efficient constitution that would be acceptable to all the federating units.
The current constitution, which he claimed was the result of retrogressive elements, is unitary and at odds with our cultural realities.
Okotie came to the conclusion that individuals opposed to restructuring are reaping benefits from the current recycled leadership structure, which is to blame for the current economic stagnation.
