Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has stated that the moment she was unveiled as the deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State, was life changing.
The 44-year-old said this on Twitter on Monday while ushering her followers into the new month.
Funke Akindele also expressed gratitude to everyone who supported her.
“July was a revealing month for me because of my life changing announcement. This journey is new for me and I’m so grateful to have had amazing support every step of the way.
“I look forward to doing more in August and I hope that this new month yields good things for us all,” she wrote.
The Nollywood actress and producer who was recently unveiled as the running mate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Lagos State,Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (JANDOR) for the coming 2023 election.
Funke, had in an Instagram post said: “It is important to share with you my decision to venture into a what I called a much bigger facet of service to humanity, I’m convinced it’s important to hear directly from me,” she said in the video posted on her Instagram page after much speculations and reports about her appointment.
