2023: PDP Further Extends Sale Of Nomination Forms

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has revised its calendar and activity schedule for the general elections in 2023.

Mr. Debo Ologunagba, the PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, revealed the changes in an Abuja statement on Friday night.

According to Ologunagba, the deadline for purchasing forms has been extended to Tuesday, April 19, and the deadline for submitting completed forms has been extended to Wednesday, April 20.

According to Ologunagba, the party altered the schedule to account for the Federal Government’s announcement of a two-day public holiday for Easter celebrations.

According to him, the PDP has extended the deadline for purchasing forms to Tuesday, April 19, and the deadline for submitting completed forms has been pushed out to Wednesday, April 20.

The party has also set Friday, April 22 for the screening of hopefuls for Houses of Assembly seats, according to Ologunagba.

He stated that those running for National Assembly seats would be screened on Monday, April 25; gubernatorial candidates will be screened on Tuesday, April 26; and presidential candidates will be screened on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

He said that the Houses of Assembly screening appeals had been rescheduled for Monday, April 25; the National Assembly for Wednesday, April 27; governorship on Friday, April 29, and presidential for Saturday, April 30.

“All other previously published dates remain unchanged,” he stated.

He reminded House of Assembly candidates to turn in their completed forms to their respective party state secretariats.
