Sanwo-Olu announced this at the State House Mosque’s 2022 annual Ramadan Lecture/Prayer on Saturday in Alausa, Ikeja.

“If there was peace, then the people could coexist and live as one,” Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, added.

He urged all Muslims to pray for peace in the country and that the spirit of Shai’tan (the devil) did not take control.

“I pray that Almighty Allah takes control of our country and brings peace and happiness for without it nothing can be achieved.”

Ramadan, according to the governor, is a time to be charitable and do good at all times.

He added that the only way to keep growth going was for people to live in peace and avoid instability.

Sanwo-Olu warned against war agitations, claiming that nothing important could be achieved via conflict and discord other than the ruin of everything that had been built.

Earlier, Nigeria’s Commissioner for Home Affairs, Prince Anofiu Elegushi, urged Nigerians, particularly Muslims, to take advantage of Ramadan’s training and serenity to purify their hearts and fill their minds with virtues.

Elegushi implored individuals to renew their commitment to the greater benefit of humanity. the advancement and prosperity of their beloved state and Nigeria.

“I enjoin all Muslim faithful to commit our dear state and the country at large into the hands of the Almighty God as we pray throughout this Holy month of Ibadah,” he urged.

In his lecture on “Building the Society Upon the Principles and Teachings of Ramadan,” Prof. Ahmed Adedeji, a Professor of Pharmacology at Olabisi Onabanjo University, noted that Ramadan causes Muslim believers to display allegiance to their faith and sincerity in their acts.

Adedeji said,” It also makes one be committed, to protect the earth from disorderliness and corruption.

“Ramadan makes Muslims and non-Muslims alike demonstrate patriotism to the homeland.”

As a result, he asked Muslim communities, Muslim leaders, and their supporters to work for the state’s development.

“Religious leaders should support the government by picking areas of the T.H.E.M.E.S agenda set by the government and ensuring proper advocacy,” he said, urging clerics to become more active in governance.

Sheikh Abdur-Rahman Ahmad, the National Missioner of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, also spoke, saying that all positions in life are transient and that those who have them should use them for the sake of humanity.

He urged Nigerians, particularly those in positions of authority, to be kind to one another.

“I urge those in authority not to oppress the citizens as God hates such attitudes,” he said.

I have been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any fascinating article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net might be much more useful than ever before.
