At 61 the continuous fall of the value of Naira against against US dollar and other African  countries currencies also worrisome. Even Ghanaian economy, Liberia economy, Sierra Leonean economy, and Nigerien economy are doing better than the Nigerian economy?  Kai Nigerien  currency doing better in the international market than the naira is the last six years.

I am not sure  how to address the our late Nigeria presidents  since  the formal your Excellency curtsey is of no use to them since they are in eternity.  But this open memo has became necessary to intimate you on the state of the Nation after 61 years of statehood. I am   like   having an imaginary conversation with both of seven dead  nation’s leaders I know you will be shocked to tells you the current state of the country you  left behind.

For your information the country you left behind at that time is on the path of greatness because of your foresighted dreamt for your born and unborn generation of Nigerians. Like you all knew  your  successors have done with your efforts in building a united  and peaceful country with full potential of being among the leading developing nations has been   has been shattered. While our country potential of   leading  rest of African 53 countries also remain inclusive. At this moment the country and citizens witness  another anniversary of  nation’s independence amidst of harsh conditions.

Your Excellencies, you left this world with  unaccomplished   dreams  for citizens to have a country that can call their but today citizens living standard moving  from bad to worse  three squares of meals beyond of reach of millions home. At 61 citizens don’t fells security because the country has facing great challenge of  insecurity.

To the greatest of all   disappointment in  your eternity with the development which has  shape our country in the last six decades where every sectors is decaying due to the lack of political will of successors   leaders.   The country you left behind is not the Nigeria you have wishes to leave for the citizens because country at 61 still battling with poor leadership, nepotism, corruption, mismanagement of resources,   the country became a global capital of  poverty  as more than  100 million people living on less than $1 a day. In  spite of Nigeria enormous wealth, the country is among underdeveloped countries with a life expectancy of 48.8%.

I and million of Nigerians believe that we had a great opportunity when we had a change of government in 2015 to put this economy on reset.  Precisely six years ago the administration failing in  creating  the basis for  improved economic prosperity because  of absence of economists in the cabinet.

Despite the billions of naira being pumped into numerous  projects at easing   citizens suffering.   Peoples are not happy  with the way things moving where our perceived Lion King is encircled by jackals and hyenas and even rodent one that not is fighting for the administration is having a field day.

Your Excellency, on final note our current  leaders have  mortgaging Nigeria and unborn one future with debt skyrocketed to N33.107 trillion(about $87.239B),in a  statement obtained from DMO’s  as at March 31, 2021. In spite of this debt  still  Present administration seeking another approval for additional borrowing more than $4 billion from international lenders for infrastructure projects for 2018-2021 medium term (rolling) external borrowing plan. Nigerians recall all the previous previous loans  had  not led Nigeria economic growth  except hardship due to  lack of sound economic policies.

Your Excellency, citizens are regretting to say that our yesterday as a nation was better than our today. There are no indices to show that citizens tomorrow will be better. The leaders were not taking the right steps and   placing the country on the way to bankruptcy.

Continue rest in peace.
