President Muhammadu Buhari has saluted ex – President Goodluck Jonathan on the occasion marking his 63rd birthday.
President Buhari in a statement on Friday thanked Jonathan for bringing honour and goodwill to Nigeria.
Jonathan born in Ogba, present day Bayelsa State in 1957 clocked 63 years on November 20th.
The president said ; “On behalf of the Federal Government, and Nigerians in general, I congratulate former President Goodluck Jonathan
on his 63rd birthday, today. We celebrate a life of service that has brought honour and goodwill to Nigeria.
He also applauded Jonathan for his recent service as ECOWAS Envoy in effort to bring peace to Mali.
“Nigeria specially appreciates the dedication that has kept Dr. Jonathan working most recently as ECOWAS envoy to bring peace to the Republic of Mali. I pray that the Almighty God will grant him longer life, good health and more wisdom to keep serving the nation and humanity.”
